 Kiwi photographer John Bozinov captured breathtaking images of Antarctica on his iPhone

The Wellington-based photographer took a series of captivating images highlighting the beauty of Antarctica 

Mr Bozinov used only his iPhone to capture the amazing imagery of the southernmost continent 

Working on a polar charter as a photographer allowed him to experience the world from a new perspective

The professional photographer used only his iPhone 7 plus to take the photos 

Working on the vessel allowed him to explore the South Pole and capture the journey along the way

Mr Bozinov said the trick is trying to get close enough to wildlife to get decent photos with a wide-angle lens

He photographer said to turn the iPhone onto airplane mode when shooting to prolong battery life as it automatically switches off WiFi and Bluetooth transmission

He said using the grid option in the camera settings to line-up a shot can help take a better photo

The Wellington-local took a series of captivating images highlighting the surreal beauty of Antarctica
