شهد الزعيم الكوري الشمالي كيم جونغ أون مناورة ضخمة، الثلاثاء، بالذخيرة الحية في ذكرى تأسيس القوات المسلحة لبلاده، وسط تصاعد التوتر مع الولايات المتحدة على خلفية برنامج بيونغيانغ الصاروخي.

وذكر الجيش الكوري الجنوبي أن كوريا الشمالية نشرت عددا كبيرا من وحدات المدفعية بعيدة المدى في منطقة وونسان على الساحل الشرقي لإجراء تدريب بالذخيرة الحية، الثلاثاء، بمناسبة الذكرى الخامسة والثمانين لتأسيس جيشها.

وأظهرت صور عددا ضخما من المدفعية وهي تطلق نيرانها على جزيرة صغير قبالة الساحل، كما تضمنت المناورة رماية بصواريخ مضادة للسفن.ويمثل تنامي التهديد النووي والصاروخي الكوري الشمالي أكبر تحد أمني على الأرجح يواجه الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب.وأرسل ترامب حاملة الطائرات كارل فينسون لإجراء تدريبات في المياه قبالة شبه الجزيرة الكورية كتحذير لكوريا الشمالية ولإبداء التضامن مع حلفاء الولايات المتحدة
