ترك كرة القدم وخلع قميصه معلنًا اعتزاله، ليتناول الدرع والسيف سابحًا في عالم التمثيل،

نجح اللاعب ديفيد بيكهام أن يحوذ على إعجاب الكثير برشاقته وتألقه يجاور زوجته فيكتوريا بيكهام صانعة خطوط الموضة، فحصل على لقب الأوسم بين رجال العالم لكنه لم يقف عند حد عروض الأزياء وبقى أمامه القليل ليصبح نجم السينما البريطانية القادم.

ويشكل King Arthur: Legend Of The Swordأولى تجارب بيكهام السينمائية، ورغم أنه غاب عن التريلر الإعلاني للفيلم الصادر في 23 يوليو العام الماضي؛ إلّا أنه يثبت وجوده بالفيلم بصورته بالدرع الحربي الكامل في صورة جديدة نشرها موقع ديلي ميل

ونشر بيكهام صورة صادمة في مارس الماضي قبل أن يتم تأكيد عمله للفيلم أظهرت ملامحه مشوهة بالكامل ما صدم الجمهور بقوة وزاد قلقهم أن يكون قد تعرض لحرق شديد لكن سرعان ما تبين أنها ضمن السياق الدرامي للفيلم.

ومن المقرر خروج الفيلم للسينمات في 12 مايو المقبل في بريطانيا، وهو من إخراج جاي ريتشي، ويلعب بيكهام دور قائد قوات حرب تحت اسم ” Blackleg”، ويتصدر بطولة الفيلم تشارلي هونام، يجاوره جود لو، وإريك بانا.
