The 29-year-old has only been taking pictures for about 24 months. He is pictured in Dinorwic, a village in North Wales 

Mr Owen, from Gwynedd, said: I enjoy the fact you don't need to travel far to get epic locations, we are lucky in the UK having some of the most dramatic and beautiful national parks in the world'

The electrician explained: 'I take the photos using a timer. I will set the exposure and composition manually and then let the timer go giving me enough time to get into frame'

Quite often, Mr Owen has to get up extremely early in the morning or stay up late during the night to capture his shot 

The snapper added: 'Quite often I receive messages to say I have inspired someone to get out and enjoy the mountains or visit a specific location they have seen in one of my shots'
