لندن، بريطانيا (CNN)– تسبب تفجير وسط حشوداً من الناس التي كانت تغادر حفلاً موسيقياً للمغنية الأمريكية، أريانا غراندي، في مانشستر بإنجلترا، بإسقاط عشرات الضحايا، مساء الاثنين. وهذا يعد الهجوم الأكثر دموية في بريطانيا منذ تفجيرات لندن في 2005.

هذه هي الحقائق المتوفرة الآن:

♦ قُتل ما لا يقل عن 22 شخصاً، من بينهم أطفال، إثر التفجير الذي وقع في ميدان مانشستر، عندما كان الحضور يغادر الموقع.

♦ أصيب ما لا يقل عن 59 شخصاً، وتقول الشرطة إن الضحايا نُقلوا إلى 8 مستشفيات لتلقي العلاج.

♦ قالت رئيسة الوزراء البريطانية، تيريزا ماي، التي عقدت اجتماعاً طارئاً لمجلس الوزراء، الثلاثاء، إن السلطات تعتقد أنها تعرف هوية المهاجم.

♦ قالت الشرطة إنها تعتقد أن الهجوم نفذه مهاجم واحد توفي في الانفجار القوى.

♦ زعم تنظيم “داعش” مسؤولية الهجوم، ولكنه لم يعرض أي أدلة تثبت ذلك

♦ اعتقلت الشرطة رجلاً يبلغ من العمر 23 عاماً، على صلة بالهجوم.

♦ تعتقد الشرطة أن عبوة ناسفة استُخدمت في الهجوم.

♦ قال مسؤولو الميدان إن الانفجار وقع في مساحة عامة أمام منطقة الحفلات الموسيقية الرئيسية.

♦ الميدان الذي بُني في عام 1995، يتسع لقرابة 21 ألف شخص. ومن غير الواضح حتى الآن، أعداد الجمهور الذين كانوا في الحضور، مساء الاثنين.

هذا ما لا نعرف حتى الآن:

♦ هوية منفذ الهجوم.

♦ دوافع الهجوم، إذ في حين تقول الشرطة إنها تعتقد أنه كان يعمل وحده، إلا أنها لا تزال تحقق في احتمال كونه جزءاً من شبكة أكبر أو مخطط أكبر.
