خطف المنتخب السويسري نقطة ثمينة من موقعته أمام نظيره البرازيلي، المرشّح للفوز باللقب، بتعادله معه 1-1 مساء الأحد، على ملعب “روستوف آرينا”، ضمن منافسات المجموعة الخامسة بالدور الأول من كأس العالم 2018.

وتقدمت البرازيل أولا عبر فيليب كوتينيو، في الدقيقة 20، وأدركت سويسرا التعادل عبر ستيفان زوبير في الدقيقة 50.

وبهذه النتيجة، تتصدّر صربيا المجموعة مع نهاية الجولة الأولى برصيد 3 نقاط بعد فوزها في وقت سابق على كوستاريكا 1-0، وتأتي البرازيل وسويسرا في المركز الثاني برصيد النقاط والأهداف ذاته.

وفي الجولة الثانية يوم الثاني والعشرين من الشهر الحالي، تلعب البرازيل أمام كوستاريكا على ملعب كريستوفسكي، فيما تلاقي سويسرا نظيرتها صربيا على ملعب كالينينجراد.
